As Bas Van de Haterd is a commentator here on this blog and has his own blog for the Dutch recruiters, I was more than happy to give his recruitment charity event a mention. It isn’t taking place in the UK, but is none the less a worthy event.

I’m organizing a charity event on the 12th of december in Holland.
The recruitment industry for education in Africa. Let’s all show our good side.
We have a few British attendees (Broadbean is comming with 2, Keith Robinson is there).It costs 250 Euro’s to attend, every penny goes to charity. I’ve managed to get it all for free.
It’s one (friday) afternoon. We have live music, lots of networking of course,
two live painters who’s paintings will be auctioned by a Dutch super model.
Of course if you’d like to attend, you are more then welcome too. And if you could mention something on your blog that would be appreciated.If you need more info, please let me know.

Funny enough the British charity culture is so much bigger then the Dutch (I even got the idea in London to be honest).
The location is in Utrecht, in the centre of Holland, about 30 minutes from Amsterdam. It’s actually in a very nice location in central station, so if you land at Schiphol, you have a direct train to the location.
It’s mostly about a fun event and of course I am happy one of the top models of Holland decided to attend and host the auction.
